Resort of the Mediterranean coast, Mandelieu-La Napoule is rich in beaches of fine sand and of the first creeks of characteristic red rocks of the Esterel Massif.
The level of harbour facilities is there exceptional, with more than 5000 places distributed on six harbours completely dedicated to the sailing. Water-based recreation is also numerous and accessible, diversified over a long period of the year thanks to the particularly favourable climate.
Beach, water sport, sailing allied to the charms of rivers, Mandelieu-La Napoule definitely combines all the trump cards of an excellent nautical destination.
Mandelieu-La Napoule has the chance to have on its territory a direct access to the Forest massifs of Esterel and Tanneron, which makes it a privileged destination for the followers of the green tourism.
With, more of all, the local parks of San Peyre and Esterel, the access by the regular sea link (from April till the end of September) towards the one of the Island Ste Marguerite, and the municipal forest of the Grand Duc, the sites of walks and hikes are more than numerous. Routes and guided walks are proposed all year long by the Tourist Office.
Heir of a golf tradition more than centenary, it is in Mandelieu-La Napoule that the first golf course of Côte d'Azur, the "Old Course" was created in 1891. With the "Riviera Golf of Barbossi" inaugurated a century later, three courses (two 18 holes and one 9 holes) make of it a major golf destination of the Riviera.
